A. WHAT'S IN HERE
Welcome to a dos hypertext presentation of important papers,
including Judge Sporkin's decision, in the computer legal case of
year (maybe even of the decade): The U.S. vs. MicroSoft.
This program contains the complaint, proposed settlement
stipulation, opposition to the settlement by Amicus [friends of
the Court] and the decision by the Court, as well as full
hypertext links to laws cited in the legal papers.
We suggest that you take a few moments and read the help file
from the main menu to see how the hypertext reader works.
Our hypertext reader has many useful features, like searches,
history (so you can go back and forth), a built-in note editor
and more.

C. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION
You must be running MS DOS 3 or higher, or a compatible operating
system, and have approximately 400kb free main memory.
To use this program, place ALL files in a single (or new)
subdirectory and ALWAYS use the command MSLEGAL.BAT to begin the
program.
We are planning to release an MS Windows Help file of this
material in the near future.
